Sweet potato shochu from the Oguchi Basin, shaped by its wide temperature variations
Since its launch in 1987, Kuro Isanishiki has been a beloved brand and a pioneer of the black koji boom in sweet potato shochu. Sweet potatoes grown in the Isa-Oguchi Basin, where temperatures vary greatly between day and night, are fermented with black koji to create a rich, full-bodied flavor and a sweet potato aroma. The carton pack is lightweight and easy to pour, and is also convenient for storage in the refrigerator.
Recommended serving methods
Enjoy generously with water or hot water as part of your daily evening drink. We also recommend serving it on the rocks to savor its rich body.
