About the Product
In 1916, Kirishima Shuzo founder Kichisuke Enatsu first introduced a shochu made with black koji. Carrying on that tradition, Kuro Kirishima is carefully brewed with 100% Kyushu-grown sweet potatoes and black koji. It features a rich, smooth sweetness and a crisp, clean finish. Its flavor, which “does not assert itself too strongly” and “does not interfere with food,” has earned widespread support nationwide as a drink to enjoy with meals.
