メドック格付け2級、サンテステフの名門シャトー・モンローズのセカンドワインが、このラ・ダム・ド・モンローズです。1944年から1960年までシャトーを一人で経営した女性、イヴォンヌ・シャルモリュー氏へのオマージュとして名付けられました。
内容紹介
2018年はメルロー53%、カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン38%、プティ・ヴェルド6%、カベルネ・フラン3%というブレンドで、ブルーベリーやカシス、モレロチェリーといった黒系果実の繊細な香りに、イチジクやドライフルーツ、オークのニュアンスが重なります。絹のようになめらかなタンニンと豊かでコクのある味わいが特徴です。
おすすめの楽しみ方
しっかりとした果実味を活かして、牛肉や仔羊のロースト、赤ワインソースの肉料理と合わせるのがおすすめです。抜栓後にデキャンタージュすると、香りがより豊かに開いてきます。
