The second limited-edition series, "A Night on Earth," from The Macallan Distillery, founded in 1824. Inspired by a "journey" around the world, it was created with the joy of welcoming the New Year as its theme. It is matured with an ideal balance of first-fill American ex-bourbon casks and European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry. This whisky evokes the exhilaration of travel, from its elegant aroma reminiscent of oak, coconut milk, citrus, vanilla, and biscuits, to the refreshing acidity of lemon and lime, and a lingering finish of sweet toasted oak.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
We recommend enjoying it straight to appreciate the evolving citrus and vanilla aromas. When made into a highball, the refreshing citrus notes are further enhanced, making it enjoyable as an aperitif. Serving it on the rocks with ice is also recommended.
