"Mokkosu" is a Kumamoto dialect term meaning "a pure, strong-willed person who never compromises." This is a rice shochu from Matsunoi Shuzo, a distillery that has preserved the Kuma brand, made from rice and rice koji, finished by vacuum distillation, and carefully aged for one year. The gentle sweetness of the rice and the clean taste offer a sense of reassurance that you won't tire of, even when enjoyed daily.
Recommended Ways to Enjoy
If you want to enjoy the mellow flavor characteristic of rice shochu, we recommend drinking it with hot water. The aroma will gently waft up, and it pairs well with meals. On days you want something refreshing, you can still taste the gentle sweetness of the rice when served on the rocks or with water.
