Sakurao Single Malt Japanese Whisky Sauternes Cask STILLMAN'S SELECT 100ml (sold by measure) | Whisky Museum
From the Whisky Museum Series, this 100ml bottle of “Sakurao SAUTERNES CASK FINISH STILLMAN'S SELECTION,” crafted by Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, is available as a measured pour.
Rich Sauternes cask aromas, carefully selected by the Stillman
At the Sakurao warehouse overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, the spirit is matured in a wide variety of casks to develop its distinctive character. From among the many Sauternes casks, the Stillman carefully selected only the spirits with especially rich aromas before bottling. Enjoy a sweet, fruity fragrance reminiscent of white peach, followed by Muscat-like fruit flavors that spread across the palate with a smooth mouthfeel, and a lingering finish where rich sweetness and refined acidity come together in harmony.

Recommended Ways to Enjoy
To fully appreciate the elegant aromas reminiscent of white peach and Muscat, we recommend starting by enjoying it slowly neat. Adding a small amount of water or serving it over ice brings out the balance between its mellow mouthfeel and refined acidity even further. The 100ml measured-pour size also makes it ideal for comparing it with other cask finishes.
