Nishi Shuzo, located in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, produces shochu based on the belief that "shochu brewing is agriculture." "Satsuma Hozan," made with carefully selected Koganesengan sweet potatoes and white koji, is a classic representative of the brewery's flagship "Hozan" series.
"Hona Mizu" and vacuum distillation create a mellow taste
Using "Hona Mizu," subsoil water from the高峰 Mountain Range on the Satsuma Peninsula, as brewing water, it is finished mellow through vacuum distillation. When you take a sip, the gentle sweetness that spreads in your mouth and the fragrant, soft flavor are harmoniously balanced, making it an easy-to-drink imo shochu.

Enjoy it on the rocks, with water, or as an oyuwari (with hot water), according to your preference.
