竹原市の蔵元・中尾醸造が、チーズとの相性を追求して手がけた純米酒です。蔵内で8種類のチーズと実際にペアリングを重ね、特にゴルゴンゾーラやスモークチーズとの食べ合わせで高い評価を得た、チーズと楽しむために生まれた一本です。
こだわりのポイント
広島県産米を100%使用し、精米歩合70%という低精白の米で、米の旨味をしっかりと引き出した純米酒に仕上げています。さらに常温でじっくりと長期熟成させることで、まろやかな口当たりを実現しました。
味わい・香りの特徴
日本酒度+3、酸度1.6のやや辛口。低精白の米由来のコクのある旨味と、長期熟成によるまろやかな口当たりが特徴です。ワイン感覚で楽しんでほしいとの思いから、ワイングラスでの提供がおすすめです。
おすすめの楽しみ方
チーズとの相性を追求して造られた一本なので、まずはゴルゴンゾーラやスモークチーズと合わせてお楽しみください。コクのある中華料理やエスニック料理とのペアリングもおすすめです。飲み方は常温やぬる燗が特におすすめで、冷酒や熱燗でも楽しめます。
