Flavor and Aroma Guide

Sakurao Single Malt (43%)

Matured in Sakurao along the Seto Inland Sea. It offers fruity notes of raisins, oranges, and peaches with a soft smokiness. A vanilla-like sweetness brings everything together, providing a well-balanced finish.

Togouchi Single Malt (43%)

Matured in a former railway tunnel in the Chugoku Mountains. It features aromas of apple, melon, and marmalade, along with a clean sweetness and a crisp finish.

Sakurao Sherry Cask (50%)

Additional maturation in cream sherry casks selected by the stillman. It offers rich aromas of dried fruit, bitter orange, and cacao, along with deep sweetness and peat smoke.

"Whisky Museum" is a small-quantity tasting series proposed by Sumitaya. It was born from the desire to make unique alcoholic beverages from Japan and around the world more accessible and enjoyable.
