こだわりのポイント
響21年は、山崎蒸溜所のシェリー樽をキーモルトに、21年以上熟成させた原酒を吟味してブレンパした、サントリーならではの贅沢なハーモニー。ロイヤル・ブラックラ21年は、1812年にスコットランド・ハイランドに設立された世界最古の蒸溜所のひとつが手がける一本で、アメリカンオーク樽で熟成した原酒を、オロロソ・パロコルタド・ペドロヒメネスの3種のシェリー樽でフィニッシュしてブレンドしています。1835年に英国王室から史上初めて「Royal」の称号を賜った、まさに「王のためのウイスキー」です。
味わい・香りの特徴
響21年は、円熟した豊かな香りとまろやかな口当たり、長く続く上品な余韻が特徴。ロイヤル・ブラックラ21年は、トフィーやベリーの香りに、シナモンやシュガーを思わせる味わい、スパイシーでエレガントな余韻が続きます。
