"Seiryu" from Zuisen Distillery, which has been producing awamori near Shuri Castle since the Meiji era. This popular brand is a three-year kusu made by blending kusu and aging it further, recognizable by its blue label.
Description
The name "Zuisen" comes from a spring that once flowed within Shuri Castle. Seiryu is expertly blended from aged kusu and matured further in storage, bringing out the mellow sweetness and deep richness unique to kusu. This classic kusu has earned high acclaim, including the Okinawa Governor's Award at the 2006 Awamori Appraisal. The generous 1800ml size is perfect for enjoying slowly at home.
